Residency in exchange for a qualifying investment in Italy.
Who it's for: High-net-worth individuals.
Requirements
- €250,000 in an innovative Italian startup, or
- €500,000 in an Italian limited company, or
- €1,000,000 philanthropic donation, or
- €2,000,000 in Italian government bonds (held for 2+ years)
- Funds must come from abroad with documented origin; real estate does not qualify
- Timeline
- Nulla osta in about 30 days, then the visa; 2-year permit renewable for 3 years
